Apna Mumbai Foundation is a Non Profit Organization based in Malwani area of Mumbai, where we work for the upliftment of the underprivileged by various means. We are a Non Government organization and work completely on the donations and funds we receive from generous donors.
We at Apna Mumbai Foundation believe that every person should be given a chance to make their life better and bring them out from under the rubble. Founded by our President Mr.Alimuddin Shafiuddin Mulla, we��??re working religiously in upliftment of poor and bringing down the difference between rich and poor since it��??s inception in 2015. Based in the Malwani area of Malad, we are more than 150 volunteers across Mumbai for easy geological reach.
Apna Mumbai Foundation believes that upliftment of the poor is the most powerful catalyst for the social transformation of any society and thus our hardworking and dedicated volunteers work hard and carry out activities like free monthly ration distribution to more than 100 families throughout Mumbai. These ration kits include daily staples to spices and personal care items like soap, oil and toothpaste etc.
We also carry out used stuff distribution drive by distributing useful goods like books, clothes and appliances etc from our donors and distributing them to the needy.
We believe that Education is the biggest tool for the empowerment and upliftment of the poor in the society, thus we are working hard in the field of education. Though we would like to expand our services in the field of education in near future with the help of more potential donors joining in and more donations being added to our funds, but currently our volunteers work hard in getting the needy students admitted to school/colleges, waiving the donations or fees, uniforms, providing books, stationeries and other study materials etc..To the students.
We work in the field of Healthcare by carrying out healthcare seminars in the slums around the city as we believe health is wealth. We organize healthcare awareness and medical campaigns by roping in skilled doctors and providing information on health issues and guiding about it. We also acknowledge that sports play a very important part in the development of children and youth, thus we encourage them by organizing both indoor and outdoor games, tournaments so that they stay active and participate in sports activities.
Being a Non-profit organization, we welcome potential donors and urge the privileged in the society to help us in social transformation by lending a helping hand to Apna Mumbai Foundation through their donations as we wish to grow our services in more dimensions, so we can overcome the social differences.
